Group Captain Bader was a Royal Airforce flying Ace, with 22confirmed aerial victories, 4 shared victories, 6 probable victories and 11enemy aircraft damaged. What makes this even more remarkable is that WingCommander Bader was flying as a double amputee, enduring the removal of both ofhis legs. Having survived a daring stunt previously, he refused to begrounded. After being retired from the RAF due to medical grounds here-enlisted and returned to the RAF at the outbreak of the Second World War.The spirit of resilience, skill and bravery made Group Captain Bader one of thefinest and most inspirational pilots of WW2. 

The Retro 51 Tornado Hurricane is a retractable rollerballpen with a trademarked knurled twist-top. Mk I Hawker Hurricane, RegLE-D has authentic WWII Day Fighter markings and features acid-etchedprinting to recreate plane panels, exhausts, rear fabric and woodenconstruction showing the stringer at the rear of the aircraft. It has thenbeen printed with the camouflage, nose art, RAF Roundel and SquadronLeader Bader's squadron pennant. Each pen is finished with blacknickel trim and the top disc features the RAF fin flash.

The Tornado Hurricane takes a SchmidtP8127 rollerball refill, or alternatively you could fitan EasyFlowrefill if you prefer ballpoints.
